Steven Fung, MDCM, FRCP(C)
Steven, a General Internist at Scarborough Hospital, brings a holistic view to his medical practice by combining the mind and body. Steven has been studying Vajrayana Buddhism for 14 years and has taught visualization meditation for two years. Steven draws out the inner pragmatist in his students by relating his meditative experiences to his medical practice.

Edward Lui, B.Sc. Computer Consultant
Ed attributes his calmness to his practice of Vajrayana Buddhism which he has been practicing for 12 years. An IT consultant working in for a major banking institution, Ed is known amongst his colleagues to surf through the pressure of his job with a cool head. Ed began teaching visualization meditation two years ago and brings to life an old tradition with his years of experience, knowledge and humour.

Henry Shiu, Ph.D. (Buddhist Studies, University of Toronto)
Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto Scarborough, Henry has been practicing Vajrayana Buddhism for 14 years. His research topics include but are not exclusive to, the study of Buddhist scriptures. Currently, he is the editor of several series of Master Tam’s works in China, including the Reading Guides to the Buddhist Scriptures. He is also the Associate Editor of Canadian Journal of Buddhist Studies, and the Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Monograph Series of Sino-Tibetan Buddhist Studies. His latest work, The Nonduality of Nonconceptual Wisdom and Conceptual Cognition: A Study of the Anunatvapurnatvanirdesa, a revised version of his Ph.D. dissertation, will be available in the summer of 2007.

Jenny juggles a nursing career, her family and working for a public health agency promoting healthy lifestyles to the community with keeping us organized at the centre. She has been practicing Vajrayana Buddhism for 12 years and brings a female perceptive to the team.
